We are proud to announce, one of Kelowna BC's most treasured artists, Joshua Smith will be joining us this month!
What one could suggest as being a Soul-inspired, captivating experience, Joshua is a singer/songwriter who mingles catchy clever lines and infectious vocals in the company of playful story telling. With a nod to “Motown”, Joshua Smith captures tradition and folk-friendly modernism with his songwriting prowess.
Joshua Smith first met the founder of Fireside, Jared Clark in 2008 at a Christmas concert in 2008. Little did either of them know, a decade later they would collide again a decade later, with Clark inviting him to perform the Fireside Concert Series in Calgary. it's true, this music community spans across vast geography and time periods. An excellent soulful voice paired with a folk style ability to story tell is the main thing that stuck in Clark's memory from his early exposure to Smith, since then he has recorded 4 albums, sharing his music across Canada and beyond.
Come out to the Fireside House to take in this incredible artist in the intimacy of our living room.
